MIRRA’s project history is closely aligned with Jordan’s national priorities and strategic policy frameworks. From climate resilience to digital transformation, water security to inclusive governance, MIRRA is contributing directly to the achievement of the country's ambitious goals. Jordan Vision 2025

Jordan Vision 2025 is Jordan’s national roadmap to build a more inclusive, sustainable, and competitive future. It focuses on improving quality of life, fostering economic growth, strengthening institutions, and promoting collaboration between government, private sector, and civil society.

National Water Strategy 2023–2040

The National Water Strategy 2023–2040 guides Jordan to secure sustainable water access by improving resource management, expanding supply, reducing losses, modernizing institutions, and ensuring a resilient and efficient water sector.

National Climate Change Policy 2022–2050

The National Climate Change Policy 2022–2050 sets Jordan’s long‑term direction to build a low‑carbon, climate‑resilient society by 2050. It guides all sectors to integrate mitigation, adaptation and sustainable development, aligning with global climate commitments and national economic goals.

Our Pledge

We Are Dedicated to Providing Sustainable Water, Agriculture, and Livelihoods

MIRRA, Methods for Irrigation and Agriculture, was created on September 2007 and based in Amman and Irbid, Jordan. It was converted to a special association that belongs to the Ministry of Environment in the end of year 2010. The impact on water availability and access across various sectors in the country breed the need to improve water use efficiencies and freshwater conservation within agriculture, as the sector is a top consumer of Jordan’s freshwater resources. MIRRA is dedicated to facing these obstacles, while positively impacting the livelihoods and wellbeing of communities and institutions.
